Roberto’s legal journey began during law school, where he honed his litigation skills by representing clients in administrative hearings. As a first-year law student, he successfully argued on behalf of his clients, setting a strong foundation for his legal career. During his final two years of law school, he worked at the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office, where he defended clients’ Constitutional rights and argued several matters.
Before attending law school, Roberto gained valuable experience in politics by interning for a State Senator at the California State Capitol. He also worked as a courtroom clerk in the Superior Court of California, County of Yolo, where he further developed his understanding of courtroom procedures and legal processes.
